Sweater Mittens
Earlier in the year, my sister found this tutorial from MarthaStewart.com that had a quick and easy tutorial on how to make mittens salvaged from old sweaters! So we both decided to give it a try and we picked up a cable knit sweater from the thrift store for less than 5 bucks.
We were able to use the bottom of the sweater and the sleeves to make two pairs of mittens. Plus, they were custom fit for our own hands! This is a fun tutorial that only takes about 30 minutes and you can create custom mittens for yourself and friends and family for a great price.
You can also check in our DIY tab for instructions and pictures on how to make these warm Martha Stewart mittens!
